Research and delvelopment Engineer/Technician (M/F/D)
Your Responsibilities
- Product and design and development projects around our cell logistic solutions at our location in Norderstedt, with a particular focus on packaging solutions
- Research on new technologies, focusing on innovative solutions for live cell shipment
- Feed our technical pipeline with novel ideas to address the constantly expanding application areas
- Plan and execute application-driven development activities, internally and working with our partners
- Management of external collaborators and suppliers regarding development, tech-transfer and production activities
- Change control and product lifecycle management in collaboration with the Product Management function
- Contribute to quality management processes with a particular focus on packaging products and tech transfer aspects
- Close cooperation with Business Development, Marketing, our global distribution network and our customers
What you're offering
- Trained technician, draftsperson, B.Sc. or M.Sc. in mechanical or plastics engineering with experience in product development
- Broad knowledge in product development and design, ideally in the area of packaging products, lab equipment and/or consumables
- Preferably experience in Biotech, Medtech or similar industries
- Experience in project management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in English and German
- Creative and analytical mindset
- Hands-on mentality
- Willingness to travel occasionally
